I am a sucker for a good deal, that’s why I couldn’t resist when I saw a giant bag of beets on-sale for $1.88 at my local grocery store. I had no idea what I was going to make with them, but I decided I couldn’t pass up the great price and bought them anyway.
I am always looks for easy, healthy side dishes that have a lot of flavour and don’t make me feel like I’m watching what I’m eating. And I can truly say that these Skinny Scalloped Potatoes hit the mark!
You know what I love about bananas? They are super versatile. They’re delicious on their own, awesome in smoothies, incredible inside of peanut butter sandwiches and amazing in baked goods. I also love that you can just throw ’em in your purse and don’t have to find a sink to wash them before you chow down. Quite simply, bananas are a magical fruit.
